Built in 1354 by Renaud de Waimes on the foundations of Roman and Carolingian fortresses, Reinhardstein Castle dominated the Warche Valley for several hundred years before being gradually abandoned. Rebuilt by a rich and passionate teacher in 1965, it now contains rich collections of weapons and armour, tapestries and period furniture that make its visit a must. Many activities are organized throughout the year.
